Rider to Expand Video Steaming
Soccer, Field Hockey added to Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling
For the first time, many Rider University outdoor varsity athletic events will be made available on BroncVision through video streaming.
Beginning this fall, men's and women's soccer games and field hockey games will be video streamed from the new turf field complex, weather permitting.
"We are excited that we are now able to expand our coverage of home events to our fans that might not be able to attend our games," said Karin Torchia, Rider's Senior Woman's Administrator and Associate Athletic Director for External Operations.
The first outdoor contest scheduled for BroncVision is September 10, the first-ever outdoor night game on the Rider campus, when the women's soccer team hosts Fairleigh Dickinson at 7:30.
BroncVision is located on the athletics' home page at www.gobroncs.com and is subscription based.
To meet the needs of our fans, there are three pricing levels for BroncVision.
A weekly pass has been established at $4.95, covering any event over a seven day period.
The monthly pass for all events is $9.95 with an annual subscription also available for $69.95, covering the 2010-11 academic years.
Volleyball, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball and the wrestling matches are all available no matter which option you buy.
