Men on TV at least 10 Times, Women Twice
EDISON, NJ—The Rider University men's basketball team will appear on television at least 10 times this season, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced Thursday.
The Broncs will play on ESPNU or ESPN3 at least seven times, beginning with the first MAAC game ever played at Monmouth December 5 on ESPN3.
Rider's televised MAAC games include at preseason favorite Manhattan January 24, at interstate rival Saint Peter's January 31 and home in the Broncs' Zoo to host Marist February 6 and defending champion Iona February 21. On March 2 Rider's game at Iona will also be on ESPN3, as well as the MAAC Playoff Quarterfinals.
Other televised games include the season opener at Lehigh (Patriot League Network) November 12, at Purdue (BIG 10 Network) November 17 and at Villanova (Fox Sports 1) December 21. The home game against Penn December 29 is also a possible television game.
The Rider women's home game February 6 against Iona will be on ESPN3, as will the February 13 game at Fairfield.
All home games that are not on commercial television will be broadcast as part of MAAC TV on BroncVision at GoBroncs.com.
