All-American in 1983 after batting .399, and was the third player selected in the first round of the 1983 amateur baseball draft. He has played eight years in the pros, many on the major league level with the Texas Rangers. At Rider, he ranks 10th in career hits with 141. (2nd among three-year players), ninth in homeruns (15) - 2nd among three-year players) and fourth in career batting average (.365).
