Position: Associate AD/Compliance/Internal Operations
Greg Busch has been an Associate Athletic Director at Rider since 2006.  In this position, Busch serves several primary functions for the Athletic Department.  As the Department’s Compliance Officer, Busch is charged with ensuring Rider’s internal and external constituencies are educated on and adhere to all NCAA and conference rules and regulations.  Busch’s responsibilities in Compliance include certifying initial and continuing eligibility for all Rider student-athletes, providing rules interpretations and guidance to Rider coaches and athletic representatives, and acting as a liaison with Student Financial Services to coordinate the distribution of athletic aid.

As the Department’s head of Academic Support, Busch oversees a program designed to provide Rider student-athletes with the tools and support necessary to achieve academic success.    In addition to his roles in Compliance and Academic Support, Busch also serves as the team administrator for men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country and track, golf, and baseball.

Prior to coming to Rider, Busch served as an Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance and General Administration at Princeton University for three years.

Busch earned his undergraduate degree in English from Princeton, where he competed on the men’s soccer team.  He currently resides in Mt. Laurel with his wife, Thomasina, and son, Calan.
