Business Administration/International Business major...2012-13 Rider Female Athlete of the Year...a 60-game veteran, Penas enters her senior season third on Rider’s all-time scoring list with 133 points (54g, 25a)…Third Team NFHCA All-America honoree and First Team All-Region...First Team All-Northeast Conference honoree for the third season in a row...scored Rider's only goal in a 2-1 overtime loss at UMass in the NCAA Play-In game...named to the NEC All-Tournament team and was the tournament MVP after two goals and an assist in the title game...scored the game-tying goal and had the game-winner with 7:12 left in the 3-2 win over Monmouth as Rider won its third consecutive NEC title…led the NEC in shots, points (49) and goals (20) as a junior…eighth nationally in goals per game and ninth in the NCAA in points per game...had a goal and an assist in Rider’s 4-1 semifinal win over Quinnipiac…fourth in the NEC in game-winning goals...four-time NEC Player of the Week…as a sophomore, was named to the Longstreth/NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team and was the NEC Offensive Player of the Year...First Team NEC honoree...was 12th nationally in goals per game and 14th in points per game...named to the NEC All-Tournament team as the Broncs won the 2011 NEC Championship over Monmouth...started all 21 games in 2011 and led the conference in goals and shots and was second in the conference in points and sixth in assists...assisted on the winning goal in Rider's NEC semifinal win over Saint Francis (Pa.)...has three game-winning goals, at Lehigh, against NEC-rival Quinnipiac and against Pennsylvania...had four goals in the first three games of the season and had points in 16 of 21 games...scored her second career hat trick with three goals in Rider's win over Penn...also added an assist against the Quakers for a seven point night...had multiple goal games against Ball State and Appalachian State, at Lehigh and in an NEC win over Bryant...nine or more shots in 11 games...NEC Rookie of the Year and First Team All-NEC honoree in 2010...was 21st nationally in points (second in the NEC) and 25th in Division I in goals...second leading goal scorer among all freshmen in the nation...had a goal and an assist in Rider's semifinal win over Quinnipiac...at the time was only the second freshman in NEC history to be named Player and Rookie of the Week at the same time...earned that honor for her 12 point week (five goals, two assists) the second week of the season...had two goals and an assist in her first collegiate game against Colgate and followed that effort with a hat trick while adding two assists in Rider's win at Penn...three-time NEC Rookie of the Week...played in 15 games, starting 13...led the team in shots (89), was second in goals (13), game-winning goals (three), tied for second in assists (six) and was third in points (32)...had two goals (including the game-winner) and an assist in a non-conference win against West Chester...recorded a goal and two assists in the final regular season game against Saint Francis (Pa.) as the Broncs clinched the NEC Regular Season Title...had a season-high 14 shots at Saint Joseph's.
