Cavallaro Named MAAC Diver of Week

LAWRENCEVILLE-Rider University senior Brendan Cavallaro was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Diver of the Week for all competition the first week of November.

Cavallaro (Middleboro, Mass/Middleboro) won both the 1-meter dive (303.68) and the 3-meter dive (331.05) in a meet with Lehigh November 5.

It marks the fourth time this season that a Rider diver won this award. Cavallaro also won the award the first two weeks of the season. Sophomore diver Trevor Hiller (Galloway Twp., NJ/Absegami) was named the MAAC Diver of the Week for all competition the last week of October.

Rider takes to the pool again November 12 at La Salle in a tri-meet with La Salle and Delaware.
