Wrestling
Against Columbia sophomore Chuck Zeisloft (Woodbury Heights/Gateway) won his 21st match of the season, Sophomore James Brundage (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining) won and senior Jimmy Kirchner (Somerville) won a major decision. At Drexel freshman Jimmy Morris (Northport, NY/St. Anthony's) won by fall in the final bout to give Rider a come-from-behind CAA victory. James Brundage won a major decision at 165 to give Rider a 7-6 lead. Junior Zac Cibula (Luxemburg, Wis./Luxemburg Casco), freshman Clint Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff), and sophomore Chuck Zeisloft (Woodbury Heights, N.J./Gateway) also won. Against Sacred Heart and F&M Chuck Zeisloft, Jimmy Morris, sophomore Ramon Santiago (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville), Clint Morrison and freshman Donald McNeil (Plainville, Mass./Wyoming Seminary) all won twice.

Men's Basketball
Against Iona, sophomore Anthony Myles (Dover, DE/Poly-Tech) scored a career-high 21 points. Trailing 29-25, Rider out-scored Iona 12-3 over the final 6:10 of the first half, five points by sophomore Daniel Stewart (Philadelphia, PA/Neumann-Goretti), to take a 37-32 lead at half time. Stewart finished with nine points and six rebounds. Junior Jonathon Thompson (Orlando, Fla./Jones) added 10 points, six assists and four rebounds for the Broncs while senior Brandon Penn (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) compiled 10 points and six rebounds. At Niagara the Broncs lost on a controversial call despite a career-high 26 points by senior Novar Gadson (Philadelphia, Pa./John Bartram) and 21 from Brandon Penn. At Canisius Gadson compiled 19 points and nine rebounds. Brandon Penn made a three-point field goal with 0.8 seconds left to give Rider a MAAC victory over Niagara at Rider. Sophomore Anthony Myles (Dover, DE/Poly-Tech) made a three-pointer with 38 seconds left to tie the score at 71-71. Myles finished with 13 points off bench. Senior Jeff Jones (Chester, PA/Monsignor Bonner) scored 18 points. Jonathon Thompson had 11 points and seven assists. At Loyola Daniel Stewart led the Broncs with 13 points and 10 rebounds, his third 'double-double' of the season and the seventh of his career.

Women's Basketball
Against Manhattan junior Caitlin Bopp (Baltimore, Md./Inst. of Notre Dame) had 10 points, seven rebounds and three steals and sophomore MyNeshia McKenzie (Springfield, Pa./Springfield (Delco)) added nine points and nine rebounds. Against Canisius freshman Emily Fazzini (Wayne, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) scored a career-high 22 points. At Loyola Emily Fazzini and MyNeshia McKenzie each scored 12 points. Fazzini scored five of Rider's seven points to start the second half as the Broncs cut the lead to 44-36. At Fairfield Caitlin Bopp had 9 points and 14 rebounds. MyNeshia McKenzie had 9 points and 4 rebounds.

Against Fordham and Rutgers junior Johnny Funk (Las Vegas, Nev./Southeast Academy) won the 100 back, the 200 back and swam on the winning 200 medley relay. Junior Julien Hensen (Delafield, Wis./Kettle Moraine) won the 100 breast and the 200 breast. Freshman Drew Peterson (Boulder City, Nev./Boulder City) won the 400 IM, the 200 fly and the 1,000 free.

At the Lafayette-Rider Winter Games, sophomore Steven Brown (Penns Grove) won the triple jump (48'7.5"), junior Ashley Hunter (Northampton, Pa./Northampton) placed second in the 500m (1:16.34) and 16th in the 60m hurdles (9.65), junior Mia Riley (West Caldwell, N.J./James Caldwell) placed seventh in the 60m dash (7.87) and eighth in the 200m (25.65) and sophomore Rhea Phipps (Basking Ridge, NJ/Ridge) placed eighth in the shot put (38'3.5") and 10th in the wt. throw (46'0.75"). Junior Jorge Merino (Old Bridge) placed sixth in the shot out (50'3.25") and 16th in the wt. throw (45'1"). Junior Greg Smith (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley) placed seventh in the long jump (21'5.25"), sophomore Wilvenson Baptiste (Irvington) placed ninth in the 200m (22.38) and 25th in the 400m (50.88) and freshman Jonathan Galya (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.) placed eighth in the high jump (6'4.25"). Against TCNJ junior David Hightower (Easton, Pa./Easton) won the 55m hurdles in an IC4A qualifying time of 7.43 and led the sprint medley relay to a Rider record time. Jorge Merino won the shot put with an IC4A qualifying distance of 15.87m, junior Greg Wesh (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) won the 1,000m in an IC4A qualifying time of 2:28.36, senior Heather Giovagnoli (Royersford, Pa./Spring Ford) won the 1,000m in a Rider record time of 2:55.40 and led the sprint medley relay to a Rider record time. Mia Riley won the 55m dash and the 200m and ran on the winning 4 x 400 relay. Sophomore Lauryn Strebeck (Dayton, OH/South Brunswick) won the 55m hurdles and won the triple jump.
