Volleyball Cancelled Wednesday Night vs. Fordham

LAWRENCEVILLE--Due to the impending Nor'easter expected to hit the area late this afternoon, the non-conference Rider University volleyball match against Fordham has been cancelled and will not be re-scheduled.

Fordham had expressed concerns about the travel conditions returning to New York after the match which was scheduled to begin at 7pm, during what is expected to be the middle of the storm.

Rider hosts two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matches this weekend, taking on Siena at 1pm on Saturday and Marist at 1pm Sunday in the season finale.

The Broncs will honor their senior class of Meg Cook (Warrington, Pa./Archbishop Wood), Brittany Gajewski (Whitehouse Station/Hunterdon Central Regional), Stephanie Nagy (Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) and Haley Wilson (Williamsburg, Iowa/Williamsburg) prior to the match on Sunday.
