Three Broncs Named MAAC All-Academic
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla.—Three members of the Rider University golf team were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team it was announced by the conference office.
Seniors Chris Foster and Beau Guarino and sophomore Cole Clark were recognized for achieving a grade point average over a 3.20.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Foster (Pittsgrove/Schalick), a Communication major, has a grade point average of 3.70, Clark (Califon/Voorhees) is a Global Supply Chain Management major with a 3.44 g.p.a. and Guarino (Burlington Township), is a Business Administration major with a grade point average of 3.40.
This is the third year in a row that Foster has earned All-MAAC Academic recognition.
Rider is competing at the 2013 MAAC Golf championships April 26-28 in Florida at Disney's Palm Golf Course.
