2 Broncs MAAC All-Academic

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y.—Junior Mary Rossi and sophomore Gina McCool of the Rider University softball team were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team it was announced Thursday evening.

To be eligible, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. 

McCool, from Marlton, New Jersey (Cherokee) is an Elementary Education/Psychology major with a 3.57 g.p.a.  Rossi, from Trenton, New Jersey (Notre Dame) is an Elementary Education/Psychology major with a 3.38 grade point average.

Rider returns all 14 letterwinners for the 2014 season.
