Softball
At Monmouth freshman Gina McCool (Marlton/Cherokee) had three hits. Against Lafayette freshman Madison Rittley (Pennington/Hopewell Valley Central) made her first start and went three for three with four RBI in the first game. In the second game senior Lucy Higgins (Westminster, Mass./Notre Dame Academy) went three for three with three RBI and two runs scored. Sophomore Kehli Washington (Lulea, Sweden/New Rochelle) had four hits in the doubleheader. At Iona junior Alyssa Paul (Toms River/Toms River HS East) had four hits. Alyssa Paul hit a two-out RBI double to break a 7-7 tie and Gina McCool followed with a two-run triple to defeat Marist. Paul had three hits, three RBI and scored twice in the second game with McCool also adding three hits and three RBI. Freshman Allysen Breeden (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) named MAAC Rookie of Week. Against Delaware senior Rachael Matreale (Williamstown) pitched a 1-hitter while Alyssa Paul and Allysen Breeden homered for a 2-0 lead.

Baseball
Against Princeton freshman Eric Thomas (Dallastown, Pa,/Dallastown Area) pitched five innings of relief, striking out a career-high eight batters, for his first collegiate win. Freshman Zach Mawson (Magnolia, Del./Caesar Rodney) recorded the final four outs for the save, his second in two days and his fourth of the year. Mawson also made an emergency start in right field and picked up his first collegiate hit. Freshman Eric Strano (Robbinsville) had two of Rider's five hits. At St. Joe's freshman Justin Thomas (Richboro, PA/Council Rock South) had two hits, including a home run. Freshman David Hafer (Pine Grove, PA) pitched five innings and struck out four for his first collegiate win. Against Marist Rider tied the score at 5-5 with a two-run pinch hit double by graduate student Ryan Murphy (Yardville/Steinert) and took an 8-5 lead on a three-run home run by sophomore Jerry Mulderig (Langhorne, Pa./Council Rock South), his first collegiate home run. At LIU senior Brandon Cotten (Wiconisco, Pa./Williams Valley) had four hits giving him 191 for his career, 14th most ever at Rider. Against Manhattan junior Ian Lindsay (Oaklyn/Haddon Twp.) had four hits and five RBI in the doubleheader with three runs scored, including a walk-off, two-run home run with one out in the seventh inning to give Rider the sweep. Junior Tyler Smith (Westmont/Haddon Twp.) pitched a complete game, his second in as many starts, striking out eight. Sophomore Nick Crescenzo (Hammonton) had three of Rider's eight hits in game two, and Jerry Mulderig had two. Crescenzo had four hits in the twin bill and Mulderig had three.

Tennis
Against Saint Peter's sophomore Nick Lubold (Carlisle, Pa./Cumberland Valley) won three games at third singles before losing in straight sets. Against Marist junior Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) and freshman Michelle Caravaglio (Manalapan/Freehold) teamed up for an 8-7 (6) win at number one doubles.

Against St. Francis Marly Roche won at first singles, senior Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) won at second singles and freshman Michelle Caravaglio (Manalapan/Freehold) won at third singles. Senior Allison Clay (East Brunswick) was a winner at fourth singles, junior Jaclyn Giameo (Roselle Park) won at fifth singles and freshman Samantha Troxell  (Mays Landing/Buena) was a winner at number six singles. Against Loyola junior Matt DiMartino (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) won his first set at sixth singles before losing in a three-set tiebreaker.

Track & Field
At Princeton junior James Burroughs (West Orange) finished third in the 110 meter hurdles with an IC4A qualifying time of 14.63 at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational and was also 11th in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 54.45. Junior Mia Riley (West Caldwell/James Caldwell) Riley was eighth in the 100 meter race with an ECAC qualifying time of 12.03 at the Larry Ellis Invitational and also ran the 1500 meter in 4:49.18. At Moravian freshman Anthony Dentino (Sewell/Washington Township) won the 5000 meter (15:12.05), freshman Nasser Zayer (Staten Island, N.Y./St. Peter's) was runner-up in the 1500 meter (3:58.15) and freshman Jonathan Galya (Freehold/Freehold Township) placed third in the high jump (1.96m). Junior Erin Fitzgibbons (Sayreville) won the 3000 meter steeplechase (11:38.99), junior Nicole Tassello (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern) won the 5000 meter (18:22.10) and freshman Emily Ritter (Millsboro, Del./Sussex Tech)  was third in the 5000 meter (18:44.22).

Golf
At Saint Peter's sophomore James Buttermark (Staten Island, N.Y./Monsignor Farrell) shot a three over par 75, including a 35 on the front nine holes. Buttermark tied for 17th place out of 64 golfers. Junior Chris Foster (Pittsgrove/Schalick) tied for 26th place after shooting a 77, including a back nine score of 36. Senior Chris Wolak (Issaquah, Wash./Hopkinton) tied for 32nd place after a 78, freshman Luke Liddell (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) finished tied for 39th (79) and freshman Cole Clark (Califon/Voorhees) tied for 44th after an 80. At Princeton Cole Clark finished 42nd out of 73 golfers after rounds of 75-77-75 (227). Luke Liddell was 65th with a total of 237 (85-77-75) and Chris Wolak and Chris Foster finished tied for 71st with a 243.  Wolak shot rounds of 84-78-81 and Foster scored rounds of 82-82-79.
