What You Need To Know
- Rider and USF are meeting for just the second time in the two programs’ histories. The Bulls took a 94-89 victory on Dec. 28, 1998, in Tampa and own a 1-0 lead in the series.

- Rider has started the season 2-0 with wins at Hampton and Hartford, the program’s first 2-0 start since 2009-10, when the Broncs defeated Mississippi State and Lehigh to begin the year. The last time a Broncs team started a year with as many as three-consecutive wins was 1971-72, when Rider slayed such Goliaths as Glassboro State, Delaware Valley, Scranton and Bucknell.

- The MAAC’s leader in field-goal percentage as a junior (.565), Kahlil Thomas is off to an even-more efficient start to this season (.684/13-19). Thomas posted a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds at Hartford.

- Freshman Stevie Jordan scored 14 points at Hampton, the most points on record by a Bronc making his debut as a freshman in at least the last 21 years (as far back as full box scores are available). Jordan also dished out five assists, grabbed three rebounds and blocked two shots to earn MAAC Rookie of the Week.

- USF fell to Elon, 74-61, on Thursday night. Geno Thorpe led the Bulls with 16 points, while Michael Bibby added 15 points. Tulio Da Silva narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

- The Broncs were picked to finish seventh in the MAAC by the league’s coaches. Kahlil Thomas was selected to the Preseason All-MAAC Second Team.

- The Broncs are led by fifth-year Head Coach Kevin Baggett, whose teams have posted a 69-64 record and reached the MAAC Quarterfinals in each of his first four seasons in Lawrenceville. Baggett was the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.
