NOTES & QUOTES
“We were very good in the field events today,” Rider Head Coach Bob Hamer said. “Asia Young set a new Rider record in the long jump.  She has been great this year and it has carried over in to the outdoor season.  It is always very exciting to watch her compete.  Ethan Dowie stepped up with some big long jump performances today as well.  It is really good to see him realize some big time success after all the hard work that he puts in every day.”

Marcell Brown has been very consistent this year in the shot and it showed again today,” Hamer added. “He did not throw very far but he got the win and that is something that is really important.”

“We made some really good strides in many areas to day and we are looking forward to competing next week so we can carry this momentum forward,” Hamer noted.

- Tyree Adams won the long jump with a PR of 7.24M. The mark was an IC4A qualifier.
- Also in the 110M hurdles on the men’s side, Devon Jefferson posted an IC4A- qualifying time of 14.89.
- Sara Gardner won the 100M hurdles with an ECAC-qualifying time of 14.14.
- Marcell Brown won the shot put with a distance of 15.23M and he also set a new PR in the discus throw with a mark of 35.16M.
