PRINCETON, NJ – Freshman Jake Sollon (Venetia, PA/Peters Township) shot a team-best 72 on Day 3 at the Princeton Invitational as the Rider University men’s golf team finished 14th in the tournament. Senior Aaron Simone (Niskayuna, NY/Niskayuna) fired a 76 to lead the Broncs with a three-round score of 225, with Sollon just a stroke back at 226.

Eder Moreno (Madrid, Spain/Lander/Saint Helena) shook off a shaky first two rounds with a 76 on Sunday, while Forest Swisher (Titusville, NJ/Hopewell Valley Central) rounded out the top finishers for the Broncs in the third round with a 77.

QUOTES & NOTES
“We really played a solid round and blew up at the end. Extremely disappointing. Jake played a solid round. He is extremely talented. It’s been a trend for us lately. Big numbers late have absolutely killed us.” – Rider Head Coach Jason Barry

• In shooting a one-over 72, Sollon birdied two holes, carded a bogey on three and parred the remaining 13.
• Simone was even through 15 holes Sunday, but carded an eight on the Par 4 16th and a bogey on 17 to finish five over.
