The Rider Athletics Golf Gala originated in 1985 as a means to increase support for Rider athletics, its programs and, most of all, its student-athletes. Since the Gala's inception, many improvements have been made in the areas of information technology, facilities, equipment, team travel, uniforms, team rooms and more.
The 32nd Annual Rider University Athletics Golf Gala, presented by Stout's Transportation, will be now be held October 10, 2016 at Old York CC in Chesterfield, NJ for the 14th consecutive year.
Golfers can choose between an 8:00 am and a 1:30 pm shotgun start. The golf fee includes Rider/adidas sportswear, Rider backpack cooler bag, greens fees, cart fee, souvenir foursome photo, refreshments on the course, breakfast/lunch (am), lunch/dinner (pm). The golf will be followed by the cocktail hour, dinner, awards ceremony, raffle prize giveaway, and the annual silent auction. All proceeds benefit Rider's 20 NCAA Division I varsity programs.
