Rider Univesity Athletics - Office of Sports Medicine

The Rider Sports Medicine Department is directly responsible for the Athletic Health Care of all of Rider University's 20 intercollegiate sports teams. The Athletic Training Facility located inside of Alumni Gymnasium (Building 2 on the campus map) provides multiple treatment and rehabilitation options for treatment and return to play from Athletic Injury.

A Certified Athletic Trainer is a health care professional who collaborates with physicians to optimize activity and participation of patients and clients. Athletic training encompasses the prevention, diagnosis, and intervention of emergency, acute, and chronic medical conditions involving impairment, functional limitations, and disabilities. 

Under the direction of Team Physician Dr. Sean Cook and Head Athletic Trainer Tim Lengle, Rider University provides a team approach to healthcare which includes multiple different aspects of healthcare to provide the best possible care to our Bronc Athletes.
