Holds Rider career records for hits (208), RBI (151), runs scored (141) and homeruns (33). His career batting average of .348 is eighth highest ever. He became the fourth Rider major league ballplayer when he played the second half of the 1989 season with the Atlanta Braves. He was second team All-East and two-time All-ECC selection. Ed led Rider to its first three ECC Championships and three trips to the NCAA tournament.
