At Hofstra sophomore Virginia Egusquiza (Getxo, Spain) scored the lone goal, assisted by freshman Ellie LaBar (Oakln/Collingswood), the NEC Rookie of the Week. Senior goalie Lyndsie Johnson (Gibbsboro/Eastern) compiled the shutout, the second of the season and eighth of her career. Against Central Michigan sophomore forward Megan Pisani (Plainsboro/W. Windsor Plainsboro-North) scored two goals and At Colgate Pisani, Egusquiza and junior Lindsay Rajeski (New Egypt) each had a goal and an assist.

At NJIT jjunior goalkeeper Alex Post (Chalfont, Pa. /Central Bucks West) made five saves. At Lafayette junior Lauren Musumeci (Annandale, N.J./North Hunterdon) scored two goals and had an assist. Against Sacred Heart freshman Claire Thompson (East Greenwich, R.I./E. Greenwich) scored the lone goal.

At VMI junior Andrew Cotes (Selden, N.Y./Newfield) scored on a corner kick with just 28 seconds left in the second half to give Rider a victory in the Jay Sculley Memorial Tournament. Sophomore Christopher Pimentel (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) made two saves for his first collegiate shutout. Cotes, sophomore Alex Titus of Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) junior Jim Bradley (Washington Twp., N.J./Washington Township) were named to the All-Tournament team.

Junior Kristy Love (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) returned to action after missing a week due to injury and had nine kills and three digs against Providence. At Lafayette senior Amy Jeary (Depew, N.Y./St. Mary's) had seven digs with senior Brittany Hayes (Mitchellville, Md./Elizabeth Seton) adding six kills and three blocks. At Lehigh senior Alex Chapla (Aliquippa, Pa./Center Area) compiled 10 kills, three service aces and two blocks (14 points).

At Marist junior Chelsea Callan (Hazlet/Raritan) placed fourth overall in a time of 20:24, sophomore Heather Giovagnoli (Royersford, PA/Spring Ford) was seventh in 20:47, freshman Megan Elgin (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) finished ninth overall in her first collegiate race, in a time of 21:14, freshman Paige McAtee (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) was 14th in 21:23, and freshman Jillian Shutt (Lawrenceville, PA/Williamson) was 15th in 21:28. For the men, junior Michael Soroko (Kinnelon) was sixth overall in 16:33, followed by junior Christian Gonzales (Somerset/Franklin Twp.), who placed 14th in 17:13. Sophomore Michael Lindner (Whitehouse Station/Hunterdon Central) placed 15th in 17:16, freshman Sean Donohue (Cliffwood Beach/Matawan) was 16th in 17:34 and senior Robert McCullough (Plymouth Meeting, PA/La Salle) placed 22nd in 17:36.

Against Philly U. freshman Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) won her first collegiate match in straight sets 6-2, 6-0 and teamed with sophomore Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) to win second doubles 8-5. Ashmore won at third singles when her opponent was forced to retire due to an injury. For the Rider men, junior Chris Esposito (Ocean Grove/Neptune) won at fifth singles 7-6, 4-6, 10-5 with seniors Will Haight (Sewell/Washington Township) and Marc Ashed (Vineland) teaming up for an 8-4 win at first doubles.

At Rutgers graduate student Eric LeFante (Colts Neck) placed second overall of 75 golfers with a two-day total of 143 (71/72). Sophomore Brian Accorsini (Hopkinton, Mass/Hopkinton) shot a 152 (75/77) to place 14th. Sophomore Brent Wolgast (Bay City, Mich./Pendleton) cut five strokes from Friday and shot a 157 (81/76) to place 40th. Junior Kevin Krecicki (Hamilton/Nottingham) finished 57th with a 163 (86/77) and sophomore Jordan Wycoff (Fort Washington, Pa./Saint Stephen's Episcopal) shot a 164 (85/79) to finish 61st.
