Field Hockey
At Radford freshman Marlaine Schneider (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) scored four minutes into the second overtime to give the Broncs their seventh straight win and was named NEC Rookie of the Week.  Senior goalkeeper Lyndsie Johnson (Gibbsboro/Eastern) made six saves, earning her second shutout in a row and third in four games.  Johnson lowered her goals against average to 0.55. At App State sophomore Megan Pisani (Plainsboro/W. Windsor Plainsboro-North) enjoyed her second three-goal game of the season.

Senior Alison Brody (Alexandria, Va./West Potomac) compiled a goal and an assist and freshman goalkeeper Jenn Nichols (Stratham, N.H./Exeter) made three saves for her first collegiate win. to lead Rider to victory over Wagner. Junior Lauren Musumeci (Annandale, N.J./North Hunterdon) scored her team-high fifth goal of the season just 5:24 into the game for a 1-0 lead. At St. Francis freshman Angela Lozupone (Rockville, Md./Good Counsel) scored with 22 minutes left in the second half to give Rider a 1-1 tie.

M. Soccer
Senior Nico Tramontana (Vineland, N.J./Sacred Heart) scored two goals to lead Rider to victory at Delaware.  Sophomore goalkeeper Christopher Pimentel (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial) made five saves for his second consecutive victory. At VMI junior Andrew Cotes (Selden, N.Y./Newfield) scored on a corner kick with just 28 seconds left in the second half. Pimentel made two saves for his first collegiate shutout. Cotes, sophomore Alex Titus of Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) junior Jim Bradley (Washington Twp., N.J./Washington Township) were named to the All-Tournament team.

Volleyball
At Siena senior Amy Jeary (Depew, N.Y./St. Mary's) had 16 digs with junior Katelyn Thompson (Tucson, Ariz./Catalina Foothills) adding nine kills. At Manhattan junior Elyse Grassmuck (San Antonio, Texas/La Vernia) had 43 assists, 12 digs and four blocks with Amy Jeary adding 23 digs. Against Providence junior Kristy Love (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) returned to action after missing a week due to injury and had nine kills and three digs. At Lafayette Jeary had seven digs with senior Brittany Hayes (Mitchellville, Md./Elizabeth Seton) adding six kills and three blocks. At Lehigh senior Alex Chapla (Aliquippa, Pa./Center Area) compiled 10 kills, three service aces and two blocks (14 points).

Cross Country
At Iona junior Chelsea Callan (Hazlet/Raritan) placed first among the Rider women, 44th overall, covering the 6,000 meter course in 24:22 and junior Michael Soroko (Kinnelon) finished first among the Rider men, 57th overall, covering the 8,000 meter course in 27:02.75. Also for the women sophomore Heather Giovagnoli (Royersford, PA/Spring Ford) placed second for Rider, 82nd overall among the 186 runners, finishing in 25:16.28 and freshman Megan Elgin (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) was 97th in 25:35.35, Paige McAtee was 104th in 25:54.54. Also for the Rider men, freshman Sean McCollough (Plymouth Meeting, PA/LaSalle) was 96th among the 203 runners in 27:48.43 and senior Robert McCullough (Plymouth Meeting, PA/La Salle) placed 104th in 28:02.18.

Tennis
Against Saint Joseph's sophomore Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) won seven games at number three singles before losing 6-2, 7-5.  Ashmore had two set points in the second set but was unable to force a third and final set. Against Delaware State freshman Aaron Greene (New Hampton, N.Y./Minisink Valley) won at fifth singles and junior Chris Esposito (Ocean Grove/Neptune) won at sixth singles.

Golf
At St. Bonaventure graduate student Eric LeFante (Colts Neck) was the medalist with a 138 (70/68). Sophomore Brent Wolgast (Bay City, Mich./Pendleton) had a 149 (74/75) to finish 14th overall. The Broncs shot a two-day total of 596 (297/ 299). Sophomore Brian Accorsini (Hopkinton, Mass/Hopkinton), who placed fifth at this tournament last year, finished 19th this year with a two-day total of 151 (73/78). At Rutgers Eric LeFante placed second overall of 75 golfers with a two-day total of 143 (71/72).
