At Iona senior Ryan Thompson (Mt. Laurel, N.J./Lenape) led the Broncs with 17 points. Trailing 41-29, Rider out-scored Iona 12-4, six points by junior Mike Ringgold (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic), to cut the lead to 45-41 with 14:56 remaining. Ringgold finished with 10 points and seven rebounds, including four offensive rebounds. Ringgold has more offensive rebounds (82) than anyone in the MAAC. Rider sophomore Novar Gadson (Philadelphia, Pa./John Bartram) added eight points and six rebounds, including four defensive rebounds. Gadson has more defensive rebounds (113) than anyone in the MAAC. Against Saint Peter's junior Justin Robinson (London, England/Blair Academy) led Rider with 19 points, making all eight of his foul shots. Thompson scored 14 points, eight from the foul line and junior Jhamar Youngblood (Elizabeth, N.J./St. Patrick's) added 13 points off the Rider bench. Ringgold grabbed a team-high nine rebounds and added five points and five assists.

Against Niagara freshman Caitlin Bopp (Baltimore, Md./Inst. of Notre Dame) had her sixth 'double-double' and second in a row with 11 points and 15 rebounds and was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time. Trailing 35-22 with 15 minutes left in the game, Rider (2-15, 0-6 MAAC) went on a 12-2 run, seven points by junior Cintella Spotwood (Trenton/Trenton Central) and five points by Bopp cutting the Purple Eagle lead to three 37-34 with 12 minutes left. Spotwood finished with a team-high 14 points and added four rebounds in 38 minutes. Against Canisius Bopp compiled 15 points and 13 rebounds. Bopp ranks third in the nation in rebounding among freshmen.

At the CAA Duals senior Ed Bordas (Montgomery, NY/Valley Central), senior Michael Kessler (Randallstown, MD/Owings Mills), sophomore Jimmy Kirchner (Somerville) and junior Rob Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) all won twice. Against Binghamton, Bordas (23-6), ranked 14th in the nation and first in the CAA, defeated the third ranked wrestler in the CAA in the final bout for the win. Rider freshman Jim Resnick (Media, Pa./Penncrest) had a come-from behind pin for the difference in the match with each team winning five bouts. Kessler defeated the 17th ranked wrestler in the nation. Against host Mason, the Broncs won eight of the 10 bouts, including a pin by Morrison. Freshman Zac Cibula (Luxenburg, Wis./Casco), sophomore Aaron Nestor (Transfer, PA/Reynolds), sophomore Tyler Smith (Phillipsburg, N.J./Belvidere) and senior Mike Ward (Mayfield, Ohio/Mayfield Village) also collected wins for Rider.

At Drexel junior Brianna Burns (Chestnut Ridge, N.Y./Spring Valley) won the 50 free (24.50) and 100 free (52.45), senior Kellyanne Tomasula (Sussex/Vernon Township) won the 100 back (57.23) and 200 back (2:04.84), freshman Kelly O'Connor (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) won the 200 fly (2:07.23) and 500 free (5:13.75), freshman Addie Oswald (Henderson, Nev./Green Valley) won the 200 free (1:57.21) and 200 IM (2:11.46), senior diver Amanda Burke won both the one-meter (289.35) and three-meter (370.65) and freshman Melissa Berkay (Jamul, Calif./Fusion Academy) won the 100 fly (1:00.14). The 100 and 200 back times by Tomasula are new Drexel pool records. Freshman Johnny Funk (Las Vegas, Nev./Southeast Career & Tech. Academy) won the 100 back (52.56) and 200 back (1:54.25), senior Scott Player (Chino Hills, Calif./Ruben S. Ayala) won the 50 free (22.00) and freshman Brian Molloy (Toms River/Toms River HS East) won the 500 free (4:44.52). Against Loyola senior Paul Apostolakis (Brooklyn, NY/Fort Hamilton) set a Rider team and pool record in the 1-meter dive (348.37) and also won the 3-meter dive (309.15). Burns won the 100 free (1:00.16), the 200 free (1:55.94) and the 50 free (24.49). Oswald won the 1,000 free (10:32.57) and 500 free (5:11.79) and placed second in the 200 free (1:57.37). Tomasula won the 100 back (56.82) and the 200 back (2:04.96). O'Connor won the 100 'fly (59.56) and the 200 fly (2:07.43). Burke won the 1-meter dive (303.97) and the 3-meter dive (274.65).

At Monmouth junior John Clark (Pennsville) won the weight throw with an IC4A qualifying distance of 17.39m. Junior Christian Gonzalez (Somerset/Franklin Twp.) won the mile (4:23.71), junior Michael Soroko (Kinnelon) won the 3,000m (8:31.05) and sophomore Adam Haun (Holland, PA/Council Rock South) won the high jump (1.94m). Freshman Daequan Kim (Bordentown) placed second in the 60m dash (7.05) and the 400m dash (51.54) and freshman David Hightower (Easton, Pa.) placed second in the 500m (1:08.18) and the 60m hurdles (8.36). For the Rider women, freshman Gina Campagna (Cicero, NY) won the pole vault (2.28m), senior Alicia Price (Voorhees/Eastern) won the weight throw (15.95m) and was second in the shot put (12.55m) and sophomore Heather Giovagnoli (Royersford, Pa./Spring Ford) won the mile (5:15.78). Freshman Ashley Hunter (Northampton, Pa.) placed second in the 60m hurdles (9.70), junior Chelsea Callan (Hazlet/Raritan) placed second in the 3,000m (10:31.24) and junior Johanna Clarke (Laurelton, N.Y./Mary Louis Academy) was second in the 800m (2:24.96).
