Against NJIT junior A.J. Albee (Ashley, Pa./Hanover Area) led the hit parade with three, including a pair of triples and had three RBI. Junior Karl Johnston (Hamilton, N.J./Peddie), junior Mason Heyne (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock), senior Nick Wojnowski (Baldwin, Md./Calvert Hall), freshman Ian Lindsay (Oaklyn/Haddon Twp.) and freshman Mike O’Reilly (Colts Neck) all compiled two hits each for the Broncs. Rider jumped out to 4-0 lead in the first inning on two hits, including a two-run triple by freshman Adam Wayman (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./G.A.R. Memorial). The Broncs made it 10-0 with a six-run second inning and a two-run double by Lindsay in the third inning made it 12-0. Lindsay had three RBI in the game. Freshman Joe Calogero (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill HS West) was the first of six Bronc pitchers and he allowed just one run on four hits and struck out two for his second win of the season. In the win at Fairfield Albee bunted, stole second and scored on a single by sophomore pinch hitter Ryan Murphy (Yardville, N.J./Steinert) in the top of the eighth inning of the scheduled seven inning game to give Rider a 9-8 lead. Albee had four hits in the win.

Softball
In the tie with Delaware Rider scored twice in the third on a two-run single by junior Amanda Centeno (Ventura, Calif./Buena). Centeno hit a two-out RBI single and freshman Heather Muscara (North Bellmore, N.Y./Mepham) followed with an RBI double to give the Broncs a two-run lead. The Blue Hens scored twice in the seventh and tied the game on a Rider error with two outs. Junior Sam Bennett (Staten Island, N.Y./Tottenville) pitched all eight innings for Rider, allowing only two earned runs while striking out three. Against Lehigh Rider took a 6-5 lead on junior Brittany Eckett's (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) fifth home run of the season. Eckett had two hits, two runs and three RBI in the doubleheader. Senior Ally Melia (Toms River/Toms River HS North). Melia had three hits and scored twice against Lehigh.

Graduate student Eric LeFante was the medalist out of 60 golfers at Monmouth. LeFante shot a 144 total (69 on Saturday). Junior Brian Accorsini (Hopkinton, Mass/Hopkinton) shot 153 to finish 15th. Junior Jordan Wycoff (Fort Washington, Pa./Saint Stephen's Episcopal) shot a 154, junior Brent Wolgast (Bay City, Mich./Pendleton) had a 156.

Against Loyola senior Kristina Paich (Stanhope/Lenape Valley Regional) won six games at first singles with freshman Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) also winning six games at second singles. Against Fairfield Roche and junior fourth singles player Mallory Garbaravage (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands Regional) each won three games before losing in straight sets.
M. Tennis
Against NJIT senior Marc Ashed (Vineland) won four games at second singles with junior Rob Olsen (Marlton/Cherokee) winning four games at sixth singles. Against Loyola senior Will Haight (Sewell/Washington Township) lost a tough three-set battle at first singles.

At Colonial Relays men's 4 x 110m shuttle hurdles relay team of freshman David Hightower (Easton, Pa.), sophomore Ron Moore (Nashville, TN/John Overton), freshman James Burroughs (West Orange) and freshman Jammar Lim (Ewing) won in 1:00.64. Junior John Clark (Pennsville) placed second in the discus (48.15m) and freshman Jorge Merino (Old Bridge) placed third in the discus (45.58m). junior Christian Gonzalez (Somerset/Franklin Twp.) placed sixth in the 1500m with an IC4A qualifying time of 3:48.15. The women Distance medley team of sophomore Heather Giovagnoli (Royersford, Pa./Spring Ford), freshman Ashley Hunter (Northampton, Pa.), junior Johanna Clarke (Laurelton, N.Y./Mary Louis Academy) and junior Chelsea Callan (Hazlet/Raritan) placed eighth in a time 12:18.94, breaking a ten-year old Rider record by 18 seconds. The 4 x 100m team of junior Shaylah Counts (Newark/Malcolm Shabazz), freshman Mia Riley (West Caldwell/James Caldwell), junior Jillian Rubbico (Plains, Pa./Coughlin) and Hunter placed 10th (48.86).
