Against LIU freshman Ian Lindsay (Oaklyn/Haddon Twp.) had three of the Broncs' 14 hits in seven innings, including a two-run triple in the sixth inning that gave Rider a 12-0 lead. Sophomore Brandon Cotten (Wiconisco, Pa./Williams Valley), junior Karl Johnston (Hamilton, N.J./Peddie), senior Nick Wojnowski (Baldwin, Md./Calvert Hall) and junior John Ralston (Annandale, Va./Paul VI) each had two hits for Rider. Johnston had three RBI. Freshman Mike O'Reilly (Colts Neck) had two RBI for Rider. Junior Mason Heyne (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock) doubled, extending his hitting streak to 15 games, the 23rd longest current streak in Division I. In three games against St. Peter's Heyne batted .667, collecting eight hits, including six doubles and scored six runs. Junior pitcher Mike Thomas (Forest Hill, Md./Fallston) pitched a nine-inning complete game, striking out a career-high 11.

Against Villanova Rider broke a scoreless tie in the third inning on back to back doubles by senior Ally Melia (Toms River/Toms River HS North) and senior Candice Harris (Henderson, Nev./Coronado). Harris scored to give the Broncs a 2-0 lead. Harris finished with four hits on the day. Sophomore Lucy Higgins (Westminster, Mass./Notre Dame Academy) had two hits. At Stony Brook junior Amanda Centeno (Ventura, Calif./Buena) had four hits in the doubleheader.

At The Mount graduate student Eric LeFante (Colts Neck) placed runner-up, one-shot out of the lead after a final round 75. LeFante shot a 228 after shooting 74-79 on Monday in the 42 golfer event. Junior Brian Accorsini (Hopkinton, Mass./Hopkinton) finished tied for third after a final round of 79. Accorsini finished with a total of 229 after 78-72 in the first two rounds. Junior Jordan Wycoff (Fort Washington, Pa./Saint Stephen's Episcopal) finished tied for 20th after a final round of 81. Wycoff entered play with an 82-76 in his first two rounds.

Against Wagner senior Kristina Paich (Stanhope/Lenape Valley Regional) won at first singles 6-0, 6-2, freshman Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) won at second singles 6-0, 6-0, sophomore Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) posted a win at third singles by a 6-1, 6-2 score, junior Mallory Garbaravage (Little Egg Harbor/Pinelands Regional) won at fourth singles (6-1, 6-2), sophomore Allison Clay (East Brunswick) won her fifth singles match by 6-0, 6-0 and sophomore Danielle White (Reading, Pa./Reading) was a winner at sixth singles, also by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

Against Siena senior Marc Ashed (Vineland) won in three sets at third singles with freshman Drew Laverty (Mount Royal/Kingsway Regional) winning at fifth singles, also in three sets. Laverty teamed up with junior Chris Esposito (Ocean Grove/Neptune) to post an 8-6 win at third doubles. Against Wagner Ashed posted a win at third singles 6-0, 6-1, Drew Laverty won at fourth singles 6-2, 6-2, freshman Milo Milosovici (Florence) was a winner at fifth singles (6-1, 6-1) and junior Aaron Goldenthal (West Hartford, Conn./Hall) posted a win at sixth singles by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

At Princeton's Larry Ellis freshman Greg Wesh (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) won the 1500m (3:56.43) and was 16th in the 800m (1:53.29), freshman Jammar Lim (Ewing) was fourth in the long jump (6.93m) and freshman David Hightower (Easton, Pa./Easton) was sixth in the 110m hurdles in an IC4A qualifying time of 14.55 and finished 29th in the 400m hurdles (57.53). Senior Alicia Price (Voorhees/Eastern) was second in the hammer with an ECAC qualifying distance of 51.50m, freshman Ashley Hunter (Northampton, Pa./Northampton) placed third in the 400m hurdles (1:04.19) and 17th in the 100m hurdles (15.83) and freshman Erin Smith (Columbia, Pa./Hempfield) was fourth in the javelin (36.76m).
