Field Hockey
In an NEC win at Robert Morris junior Megan Pisani (Plainsboro/W. Windsor Plainsboro-North) scored twice and added an assist and junior Virginia Egusquiza (Getxo, Spain) added a goal and an assist. Freshman Sandra Penas (Barcelona, Spain) scored her team-high 11th goal of the season for a 3-0 lead.

At nationally ranked Siena the score was tied at 1-1 at the half on a goal by freshman Jennifer Meier (Sayville, NY/St. Anthony's). At Marist freshman Jody Sokol (Bensalem, PA/Bensalem) scored her fifth goal of the season to give Rider a 1-0 lead.

In win over Manhattan sophomore Chris Kozak (Flanders, N.J./Morris Catholic) scored his first collegiate goal, junior Jonathan Burd (Kendall Park, N.J./South Brunswick) scored his first collegiate goal, and sophomore goalkeeper Jason Giordano (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) recorded his first collegiate victory and his first shutout. Giordano made 5 saves. Against Saint Peter's sophomore Sam Kotowski (Cranbury, N.J./Princeton) controlled a rebound off the SPC goal and knocked in a bicycle kick from eight yards out.

Volleyball
Against Marist senior Katelyn Thompson (Tucson, Ariz./Catalina Foothills) had a 'double-double' with15 kills and 11 digs, accounting for 16.5 of Rider's 70 offensive points and senior Amanda Piccolini (St. Clairsville, Ohio/St. Clairsville) had 40 assists. Senior Elyse Grassmuck (San Antonio, Texas/La Vernia) had 13 digs and graduate student Alex Chapla (Aliquippa, Pa./Center Area) had 10 kills.

At Cornell junior Brian Accorsini (Hopkinton, Mass/Hopkinton) had a 224 after rounds of 70 and 75 to finish tied for 19th out of 81 golfers.  Junior Brent Wolgast (Bay City, Mich./Pendleton) tied for 49th. Freshman James Buttermark (Staten Island, N.Y/Monsignor Farrell) tied for 58th  with a score of 239.

Against Monmouth the first doubles team of sophomore Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) and junior Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) won 8-2. Junior Danielle White (Reading, Pa./Reading) took her opening set to a tie-breaker at fourth singles before losing 7-6 (5), 6-1. At Siena Roche took her second singles match to three sets before losing 10-4.

Against Monmouth freshman Rollie Malfitano (Wenonah/Gloucester Catholic) won at first singles and junior Jeff Page (New Egypt/Jackson Memorial) won at sixth singles. Against Philly U. senior Rob Olsen (Marlton/Cherokee) split the first two sets at number five singles before losing the third set super-tie breaker 10-7. Against Saint Peter's sophomore Drew Laverty (Mount Royal/Kingsway Regional) won four games at second singles.

Cross Country
At Paul Short, running against a field with six Top-25 teams, senior Christian Gonzalez (Somerset, NJ/Franklin Twp.) finished 16th of 384 in a Rider-record time of 24:15 over 8,000 meters. Senior Chelsea Callan (Hazlet, NJ/Raritan) placed 60th of 385 women runners in 23:13 over 6,000 meters.
