M. Basketball
Against Canisius junior Brandon Penn (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) came in off the bench to compile 13 points and seven rebounds and freshman Anthony Myles (Dover, DE/Poly-Tech) compiled 13 points in his first collegiate start in the quarterfinals. Rider made 10 of 12 foul shots in the final 2:56 to preserve the victory, including four of four by senior Justin Robinson (London, England/Blair Academy), who also finished with 13 points. Against Iona 19 points by junior Novar Gadson (Philadelphia, Pa./John Bartram) and 16 points by Justin Robinson were not enough. Trailing 40-33 early in the second half, Gadson single-handedly out-scored Iona 9-6 to cut the lead to four, 46-42 with 16:50 left to play, but that was as close as the Broncs could get.

Wrestling
At CAAs sophomore Zac Cibula (Luxemburg, Wis./Luxemburg Casco) defeated the seventh ranked wrestler in the nation 5-4 in the finals and was named the CAA Most Outstanding Wrestler and qualified for Nationals. Freshman Ramon Santiago (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville) finished runner-up.Senior Rob Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff), the top seed at 174, placed third and qualified for Nationals. Sophomore Jim Resnick (Media, Pa./Penncrest), the third seed at 165, defeated the top seed, Joe Booth of Drexel, 3-1 in the battle for third place and qualified for Nationals.

Against Saint Peter's in the MAAC Tournament freshman MyNeshia McKenzie (Springfield, Pa./Springfield/Delco) finished with 15 points, eight rebounds, two steals and an assist in 35 minutes. McKenzie was named to the MAAC All-Rookie team, the third season in a row that a Rider player has earned All-Rookie honors.

At ECACs junior Brendan Cavallaro (Middleboro, Mass./Middleboro) won the three meter dive, senior Aisley Carter (Clarksburg, Md./Walter Johnson) placed second in the three-meter dive, sophomore Addison Oswald (Henderson, Nev./Green Valley) finished second in the 200 back, senior Alicia Fimple (Drexel Hill, Pa./Upper Darby) finished third in the 400 IM sophomore Johnny Funk (Las Vegas, Nev./Southeast Career & Tech. Acad.) placed third in the 200 IM. At the MAAC Championships Aisley Carter was named Diver of the Meet.

At ECAC/IC4A sophomore David Hightower (Easton, Pa./Easton) finished sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.09.  to earn All-East honors. The 4x400 relay of junior Ron Moore (Nashville, Tenn./John Overton), sophomore James Burroughs (West Orange), freshman Dave Brown (Ewing) and freshman Wilvenson Baptiste (Irvington) ran a Rider record time of 3:14.76 Burroughs also finished 12th in the 60m hurdles (8.32). Senior Christian Gonzalez (Somerset/Franklin Twp.) ran a 4:00.84 mile which is less than two seconds (3:59.00) short in order to be an automatic qualifier for the NCAA competition.

Baseball
Against Lafayette sophomore Adam Wayman (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./G.A.R. Memorial) hit a two run home run and a two run single, both in the same inning, at Jack Cust Field. Senior Steve Galella (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./G.A.R. Memorial) hit a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Rider an 8-7 lead. Sophomore Tyler Smith (Westmont/Haddon Twp.) pitched a four-batter ninth inning for the save, his second of the year and the 11th of his young career. Senior pitcher Mike Thomas (Forest Hill, Md./Fallston) tied a career-high with 11 strikeouts against Cornell and was named the MAAC Pitcher of the Week for the second time in as many weeks.

Softball
Against George Mason freshman Krysti Maronski (Woodbury Heights/Gloucester County Inst. of Technology) pitched a two-hitter, recording three strikeouts as the Broncs allowed one unearned run. Rider tied the game in the bottom of the third when sophomore Heather Muscara (North Bellmore, N.Y./Mepham) hit an RBI double, scoring senior Jen Steward (Haddon Twp.) who was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning.  Steward scored twice in the game. Muscara hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to give the Broncs a 3-1 lead and sophomore Sam Pugh (Elkton, Md./Elkton) followed with an RBI single to right field for the final score. Against Western Carolina junior Lucy Higgins (Westminster, Mass./Notre Dame Academy) had two hits and senior Amanda Centeno (Ventura, Calif./Buena) had a double. Higgins had three hits in the four games. Against Presbyterian Krysti Maronski had five strikeouts.
