Field Hockey
Against Redford freshman Eefje Kok (Berkel Enschot, Netherlands) redirected a shot by sophomore Alicia Govannicci (Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) to give Rider (5-1) a 1-0 lead 10:43 into the game. Sophomore Sandra Penas (Barcelona, Spain) took a pass on a penalty corner from junior Marlaine Schneider (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) and scored her Northeast Conference-high seventh goal of the season.  The assist by Schneider gives her a team-high six on the year. Rider senior Megan Pisani (Plainsboro/W. Windsor-Plainsboro North), still recovering from off-season hip surgery, scored with less than five minutes left in the half, giving Rider a 3-0 lead. At Hofstra Sandra Penas scored her team-high sixth goal of the season. At App. State Marlaine Schneider and Sandra Penas  each had 2 goals and an assist, while senior Virginia Egusquiza (Getxo, Spain) had a goal and an assist. Egusquiza was twice named the NEC Player of the Week this year. At Liberty Egusquiza had a goal and an assist.

Against Drexel sophomore Jennifer Meier (Sayville, NY/St. Anthony's) scored two goals and junior Abi Cottam (Leominster, England/Ludlow) added a pair of assists.  Against Temple compiled two goals and an assist and sophomore Bridgette Bartkowski (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) added a goal and an assist. Jennifer Meier had two assists. Against Wagner Abi Cottam scored twice, including the game-winner and was named the MAAC Player of the Week. Freshman goalkeeper Danielle Singson (Deer Park, NY/St. Anthony's) earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time.  Junior Kate Stevens (Deddington, England/Chenderit) and freshman Amber Mello (Mattituck, N.Y./Mattituck) scored their first collegiate goals against Wagner. At Howard Cottam scored twice, including the game-winner in overtime.

Volleyball
At FDU freshman Ashlee Amatulli (Menifee, Calif./Temecula Valley) had 34 assists and freshman Shelbie Stannard (Alvin, Texas/Alvin) had 27 digs. Against Siena freshman Jaclyn Webber (Anaheim, Calif./Canyon) had 17 kills and 16 digs, hitting .364 for the match, Ashlee Amatulli had 35 assists and 15 digs with freshman Kayla Wong (Tustin, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) compiling 14 kills and junior Stephanie Nagy (Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) adding 13 kills while hitting .367. Against Marist Ashlee Amatulli had 20 assists and 12 digs with Shelbie Stannard adding a match-high 15 digs. Against Saint Peter's freshman Kayla Wong (Tustin, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman)  had a match-high 11 kills. Ashlee Amatulli had 17 assists with freshman Shelbie Stannard adding 10 digs and three service aces. At the Liberty Invitational Jaclyn Webber was named to the all-tournament team.

Junior Megan Elgin and freshman Anthony Dentino were the MAAC Runners of the Week. At the Fiasco Elgin (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) placed 20th of 117, covering the 5k course in 19:02.38. Dentino (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) finished 30th of 105, covering the five mile course in 26:43.41.

Against Albany the Broncs took a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute of play on a goal by junior Brenden Noesges (Freehold, N.J./Freehold Township), his first of the season. Noesges and junior goalkeeper Jason Giordano (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) were named to the all-tournament team. Against Bryant junior Dan Friga (Clifton, N.J./Passaic County Tech) scored mid-way through the first half to tie the score. At Mount St. Mary's junior Brandon Sebastian (Monroe Twp.) scored on a PK. The Broncs began the Coach Charlie Inverso era with a win at Seton Hall.

Tennis
At Fairfield junior Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) won seven games at number one singles before losing 6-4, 6-3. Against Manhattan Roche won three games at first singles before losing 6-3, 6-0 with senior Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) winning four games before being defeated 6-4, 6-0 at number two singles. Against Lafayette freshman Steve Brand (Forty Fort, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) split his first two sets at number four singles before losing the tiebreaker. At second doubles Brand and  junior Drew Laverty (Mount Royal/Kingsway Regional) lost 9-7. At the Monmouth Invitational Brand won two out of three matches, winning against TCNJ 7-5, 6-3 and against Saint Peter's 6-0, 6-4.

Golf
At Rutgers sophomore James Buttermark (Staten Island, N.Y./Monsignor Farrell) finished with a score of 227 after rounds of 78-76-73, good for 34th place out of 83 golfers. Freshman Cole Clark (Califon/Voorhees) shot a 239 in the three rounds (82-81-76) to finish 62nd in his first collegiate match. Senior Chris Wolak (Issaquah, Wash./Hopkinton) had rounds of 83-81-77 (241) to place 66th, freshman Luke Liddell (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) scored a 251 (92-82-77) for 78th place and junior Chris Foster (Pittsgrove/Schalick) shot 76-92-92 (260) to place 80th.At Central Connecticut freshman Luke Liddell (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) made his college debut with a (77/74) 151, finishing 24th  of 60. Sophomore James Buttermark (Staten Island, N.Y./Monsignor Farrell) had the second best round of the day Saturday with a 69 on the par 71 course, and an 84 on Sunday placed him  27th at 153. Senior Chris Wolak (Issaquah, Wash./Hopkinton) had (81/78)  a 159 to place 46th.
