Field Hockey
At Villanova junior
Marlaine Schneider (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy), junior Gabby Burgo
(Collingswood) and junior Ellie LaBar (Oaklyn/Collingswood) scored and
senior Virginia Egusquiza (Getxo, Spain) picked up her 50th
career assist. Senior goalie Rebecca Lotito (Oceanport/Shore Regional)
made two saves for her fifth shutout of the season and the 12th
of her career. Against Redford freshman Eefje Kok (Berkel Enschot,
Netherlands) redirected a shot by sophomore Alicia Govannicci
(Springfield, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara) for a 1-0 lead. Sophomore Sandra
Penas (Barcelona, Spain) took a pass from Marlaine Schneider and scored
her seventh goal of the season. Senior Megan Pisani (Plainsboro/W.
Windsor-Plainsboro North) scored.

Against Holy Cross junior
Claire Thompson (East Greenwich, R.I./E. Greenwich) took a pass from
junior Abi Cottam (Leominster, England/Ludlow) and scored her first goal
of the season and the sixth of her career. Against Delaware State
junior Demi Mello (Mattituck, N.Y./Mattituck) scored on a header off of a
corner kick to give Rider an overtime win. The Broncs received goals
from four different players. Abi Cottam gave Rider a 3-2 lead with her
eighth goal of the season and assisted on the game-winner. Against
Drexel sophomore Jennifer Meier (Sayville, NY/St. Anthony's) scored two
goals and junior Abi Cottam (Leominster, England/Ludlow) added a pair of
assists and was named the MAAC Player of the Week the last two weeks.
Against Temple Cottam compiled two goals and an assist and sophomore
Bridgette Bartkowski (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) added a goal and an assist.
Jennifer Meier had two assists. Against Wagner Abi Cottam scored twice,
including the game-winner.

Against La Salle freshman
Jaclyn Webber (Anaheim, Calif./Canyon) had a 'double-double' with 18
digs and 17 kills, compiling 17 of the 58 Bronc offensive points.
Freshman Kayla Wong (Tustin, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) had 14 kills and
four digs, freshman Ashlee Amatulli (Menifee, Calif./Temecula Valley)
had 34 assists and eight digs with freshman Shelbie Stannard (Alvin,
Texas/Alvin) adding 15 digs and sophomore Bridget Sheerin (Oak Lawn,
Ill./Marist) compiling 12 digs. At Saint Peter’s Jaclyn Webber had 19
kills and seven digs, accounting for 21 of Rider's 61 offensive points.
Ashlee Amatulli had 22 assists, seven digs and five service aces,
sophomore Meghan Bartsch (Cranford) had 16 assists and junior co-captain
Brittany Gajewski (Whitehouse Station/Hunterdon Central Regional) had
15 digs. Against Manhattan Kayla Wong had 16 kills and seven digs with
junior Stephanie Nagy (Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) adding 14 kills and
four blocks while hitting .433. At FDU freshman Ashlee Amatulli
(Menifee, Calif./Temecula Valley) had 34 assists and freshman Shelbie
Stannard (Alvin, Texas/Alvin) had 27 digs. Against Siena freshman Jaclyn
Webber (Anaheim, Calif./Canyon) had 17 kills and 16 digs, Ashlee
Amatulli had 35 assists and 15 digs, freshman Kayla Wong (Tustin,
Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) had 14 kills and junior Stephanie Nagy
(Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) had 13 kills. Against Marist Ashlee Amatulli
had 20 assists and 12 digs with Shelbie Stannard adding a match-high 15
digs.

Junior Megan Elgin and
freshman Anthony Dentino were the MAAC Runners of the Week. At the
Fiasco Elgin (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) placed 20th of 117,
covering the 5k course in 19:02.38. Dentino (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.)
finished 30th of 105, covering the five mile course in 26:43.41.

goalkeeper Jason Giordano (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa) made six
saves. Against Albany the Broncs took a 1-0 lead in the fifth minute of
play on a goal by junior Brenden Noesges (Freehold, N.J./Freehold
Township), his first of the season. Noesges and Jason Giordano were
named to the all-tournament team. Against Bryant junior Dan Friga
(Clifton, N.J./Passaic County Tech) scored mid-way through the first
half to tie the score.

Against Monmouth junior Marly
Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) won in straight sets at first
singles (6-3, 6-4) and teamed up with senior Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) for
an 8-2 win at first doubles. Freshman Michelle Caravaglio
(Manalapan/Freehold) won 6-1, 6-2 at third singles with senior Danielle
White (Reading, Pa./Reading) posting a 6-2, 6-0 win at fourth singles.
Caravaglio and White teamed up for an 8-1 win at second doubles to
clinch the point for the Broncs. At Rutgers-Camden everyone won. Against
Lafayette freshman Steve Brand (Forty Fort, Pa./Wyoming Valley West)
split his first two sets at number four singles.

Golf
At Cornell on Sunday senior Chris Wolak (Issaquah, Wash./Hopkinton) and sophomore James Buttermark (Staten Island, NY/Monsignor Farrell) each shot an 81 on the par-72 6,893 yard Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. Wolak finished the tournament in 60th place among the 75 golfers. Buttermark and freshman Luke Liddell (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) tied for 66th overall. Liddell shot an 84 on Sunday. At Rutgers sophomore James Buttermark (Staten Island, N.Y./Monsignor Farrell) finished 34th out of 83 golfers with a 78-76-73. Freshman Cole Clark (Califon/Voorhees) finished 62nd. Senior Chris Wolak (Issaquah, Wash./Hopkinton) placed 66th.
