Field Hockey
Against Penn sophomore Sandra Penas (Barcelona, Spain) had three goals and an assist and junior Marlaine Schneider (Feasterville, Pa./Neshaminy) added two goals and two assists for Rider's 12th straight win. Against Robert Morris senior Virginia Egusquiza (Getxo, Spain) scored two goals and became Rider's career scoring leader. Senior Megan Pisani (Plainsboro/W. Windsor-Plainsboro North) and Marlaine Schneider each scored twice. At Monmouth the Broncs clinched first place when Egusquiza, freshman Eefje Kok (Berkel Enschot, Netherlands) and Sandra Penas scored. Against Quinnipiac Schneider scored three goals and had an assist, Penas had a goal and an assist and Egusquiza had two assists. Against Sacred Heart Eefje Kok had two goals and Virginia Egusquiza had a goal and an assist. Senior goalie Rebecca Lotito (Oceanport/Shore Regional) collected her eighth shutout of the season.

At Iona junior Abi Cottam (Leominster, England/Ludlow) scored in the eighth minute of play and Iona scored in the 88th minute.  Against Siena freshman goalkeeper Danielle Singson (Deer Park, NY/St. Anthony's) made seven saves for the shutout and was named the MAAC Rookie of Week.  Against Marist Abi Cottam had two goals and two assists and was named the MAAC Player of the Week. Sophomore Jennifer Meier (Sayville, NY/St. Anthony's) had two goals and an assist.

Volleyball
At Marist freshman Kayla Wong (Tustin, Calif./Arnold O. Beckman) had 13 kills, six digs and three blocks with freshman Jaclyn Webber (Anaheim, Calif./Canyon) adding 11 kills, 10 digs and two blocks.  For Webber it was her sixth 'double-double' of the season. At Siena freshman Ashlee Amatulli (Menifee, Calif./Temecula Valley) had 12 assists and eight digs with junior Stephanie Nagy (Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) adding seven kills and four blocks. At Niagara Jaclyn Webber had 10 kills and Ashlee Amatulli had 14 assists. At Canisius junior Brittany Gajewski (Whitehouse Station/Hunterdon Central Regional) had 19 digs, Jaclyn Webber had 10 kills and eight digs, Kayla Wong had 10 kills, Ashlee Amatulli had 18 assists.

At Penn State senior Michael Lindner (Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central) finished 64th among the 189 runners, covering the 5.2 mile course in 28:04. Freshman Anthony Dentino (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) was 67th in 28:09. Senior Heather Giovagnoli (Royersford, PA/Spring Ford) was 56th among the 268 runners, covering the 6k course in 23:00.

On Senior Day Rider took a 1-0 lead when senior Corey Diamond (East Brunswick/U. of New Hampshire), playing in his final home game, sent a long pass to junior Dan Friga (Clifton, N.J./Passaic County Tech), who scored his team-high fourth goal of the season. It was Friga's ninth career goal. Canisius (4-11-1, 2-5-1 MAAC) tied the score a 1-1 with 2:40 remaining in the second half on a goal from in close with the scorer's back to the net. In overtime junior Matt Perrella (North Brunswick, N.J./N. Brunswick) made his eighth save of the game but the rebound went right to a Golden Griffin and he scored the Golden Goal. At Loyola Matt Perrella made two saves. At Manhattan junior Dave Benavidez (Peoria, Ill/Richwoods) scored the only goal of the game. Matt Perrella made four saves for the shutout. At Saint Peter's Benavidez took a pass from junior Ryan Fitzgerald (Yardville, N.J./Steinert) and scored just 4:03 into the game. Junior Krishna Nathu (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) scored.

Against Mt. St. Mary's freshman Stephen Brand (Forty Fort, Pa./Wyoming Valley West) won his fifth match of the fall season, a three-set thriller at third singles (7-5, 3-6, 10-8). Against Wagner junior Drew Laverty (Mount Royal/Kingsway Regional) won at third singles, Stephen Brand won at fourth singles. Laverty and Brand won at second doubles. Junior Marly Roche (Sussex/High Point Regional) won at first singles and senior Tricia Ashmore (Sparta) won at second singles.  Roche and Ashmore won at first doubles.

Golf
At FDU sophomore James Buttermark (Staten Island, N.Y./Monsignor Farrell) tied for 34th out of 53 golfers with a score of 166 after shooting rounds of 84 and 82. Freshman Luke Liddell (Philadelphia, Pa./Father Judge) tied for 39th place with a 168 after two rounds of 84 in the 36-hole competition. Senior Chris Wolak (Issaquah, Wash./Hopkinton) tied for 46th place after an 89 on Tuesday.  Wolak shot an opening round of 87 on Monday for a combined score of 176. Junior Chris Foster (Pittsgrove/Schalick) was 49th after rounds of 91 and 90 (181).

At Seton Hall junior Kelly O'Connor (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) won the 100 fly (59.11) and 200 IM (2:13.08), sophomore Melanie Leonhard (Piscataway) won the 1000 free (10:39.37) and junior Addie Oswald (Henderson, Nev./Green Valley) won the 200 free (1:56.66). Junior Johnny Funk (Las Vegas, Nev./Southeast Career & Tech. Academy) won the 200 back (1:54.12) and 100 fly (51.72), junior Brian Molloy (Toms River/Toms River HS East) won the 200 free (1:45.46), freshman Drew Peterson (Boulder City, Nev./Boulder City) won the 200 fly (1:56.85), sophomore Trevor Hiller (Galloway Twp./Absegami) won the one-meter dive (292.43) and  senior Brendan Cavallaro (Middleboro, Mass./Middleboro) won the three-meter dive (335.85). Cavallaro won the MAAC Diver of the Week for the second time in 2 weeks. Against UMBC Johnny Funk won the 100 back and the 200 IM and swam on the winning 200 medley relay. Kelly O'Connor won the 100 fly. Brendan Cavallaro (Middleboro, Mass/Middleboro) won the 3-meter dive.
