Sonny Pittaro Field (Baseball)

Sonny Pittaro Field

Sonny Pittaro Field measures 330 feet down each line and 405 feet to centerfield. The tree-lined field is located on the back of campus beyond the soccer fields and tennis courts. Amenities include an irrigation system, exceptional drainage, fencing and bullpen mounds, stadium seating and a press box.

Due to the continued generous support of donors, a team locker room facility was added adjacent to the field in the spring of 2011.

The field is named for former Rider head baseball coach Sonny Pittaro, who retired in 2004 after 34 years, 766 victories, eight NCAA tournaments and nine conference championships. Pittaro was inducted into both the Rider Athletics and American Baseball Coaches Association Halls of Fame.
