Lafayette / Rider Suspended in First Half

EASTON, Pa.--The Rider University field hockey team had its game at Lafayette College suspended with 6:15 left in the opening half due to a power failure from a lightning storm, affecting part of the lights at the field.

The Broncs trail 2-0 and the game will resume on September 25 at Lafayette.

The Leopards scored just 2:53 into the game and added a goal 20 minutes later on a penalty corner.

Each team had three shots and the Broncs held a 4-2 penalty corner advantage.
