Broncs Close Out 2012 Season This Weekend

LAWRENCEVILLE-The Rider University volleyball team will close out the 2012 campaign with two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matches this weekend, both beginning at 1pm.

The Broncs host Siena on Saturday and Marist on Sunday.

Rider is led by senior Brittany Gajewski (Whitehouse Station/Hunterdon Central) who leads the team and is 18th nationally averaging 5.49 digs per set.

Sophomore Jaclyn Webber (Anaheim, Calif./Canyon) leads Rider in kills per set (2.75) and sophomore Ashlee Amatulli (Menifee, Calif./Temecula Valley)  is averaging 7.37 assists per set.

Two special events will highlight the weekend.

On Saturday, the volleyball team will be raising donations and awareness in the fight against autism with representatives from New Jersey Autism available in the lobby to explain about the disease and the measures being formulated to find a cure.

On Sunday, Rider will honor its four seniors, Meg Cook, Brittany Gajewski, Stephanie Nagy and Haley Wilson prior to the match against the Red Foxes.
