The Rider women's team grade point average of 3.62 was 16th highest among the 330 NCAA Division I teams. The Rider women were a best-ever 17th (of 31) at the NCAA Regional this year.
The men, who finished third in the MAAC Championships, eighth in the IC4A and 15th in the NCAA Regional, came in with a 3.28 grade point average.
"I have been very impressed with the consistent academic success of the cross country teams at Rider," said Rider head coach Bob Hamer. "Each semester we challenge them to be great in the classroom and in their sport. Each semester, they rise to that challenge and I could not be happier for this group."
