The third annual Rider Department of Athletics "Raise Your Game Athletics Fundraising Challenge" is in its home stretch.

For the third consecutive year, the challenge is coming down to the wire.  Each Rider team is facing of against each other to determine which team can generate the most participation from its former athletes.

Points are earned by each program based on gifts by former Rider athletes of at least $25. As a first-time challenge enhancement, incremental bonus points are being awarded for gifts at the $50, $100, $500, and $1,000 levels during this year's challenge.

$12,000 in prize money will be divided amongst the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in this year's challenge.

But time is running out.  Gifts will be counted for the challenge only through Sunday March 31st.

Gifts can be made over the phone, through the mail, or online at http://alumni.rider.edu/giveathletics.  Online gifts are encouraged and will generate additional points. If you have any questions about the challenge, please contact Steve Rudenstein, associate director of major gifts for athletics at 609-896-5291 or by e-mail at srudenstein@rider.edu.

The Wrestling team won the Inaugural Raise Your Game Challenge, and Field Hockey team took the title in the second year of competition.  Who will finish on top this year?  Don't get stuck on the sidelines!  Make sure you score for your team before the clock strikes zero!
