Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Match

WEST LONG BRANCH—The Rider University women’s tennis team lost a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match at Monmouth University on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hawks flew over Rider by a 6-1 score.

For the Broncs, junior Alison Noll (Monmouth Junction/South Brunswick) won 6-1, 6-3 at first singles.

“Alison played her usual, very steady, ground stroking game,” said head coach Ed Torres.  “She really didn’t make many errors and was the star player of the team today.  All of the other players just made a few too many errors.  We have to work on our steadiness and not miss some of the easy shots.”

Rider travels to Rutgers Camden Thursday.
