Final Home Match of the 2013 Season and Senior Day

LAWRENCEVILLE—The Rider University volleyball team plays its final home match of the 2013 season when the Broncs host Saint Peter’s in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference match at 1 p.m.

Prior to the match, Rider will honor graduating seniors, setter Meghan Bartsch, outside hitter Megan Knott and setter Bridget Sheerin.

Rider enters play, looking for its 15th win of the season which would tie mark set by the 2004 squad for the ninth most wins in the 37 year history of the program.

It will also be a milestone match for junior setter Ashlee Amatulli as she only needs eight assists to become the fourth Bronc all-time to reach 2,000 assists.

The Broncs are also led by four-time MAAC Rookie of the Week Kaitlyn Griffin who is averaging 2.51 kills per set.

Rider defeated Saint Peter’s 3-1 on September 28 in Jersey City.

The Broncs complete the 2013 regular season next weekend at Siena (November 16) and Marist (November 17).

If you can’t make the match, today’s event and every home volleyball match can be seen on BroncVision and MAAC.TV as part of Rider’s pay per view service powered by GoBroncs.com.  The match will be streamed live in high definition.

GameViewer (LiveStats) will also be available, free of charge via the link on GoBroncs.com and live tweets will be sent out which you can follow via twitter @RiderAthletics.
