Baseball Rained Out Monday, Coming Home

The Rider University softball doubleheader against Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference rival Saint Peter’s was postponed for Sunday due to the heavy rain affecting the mid-Atlantic region.

A makeup date has not been scheduled.

The Rider baseball doubleheader at MAAC-rival Quinnipiac was rained out on Sunday and again Monday. The Broncs are coming home.

Baseball returns to Sonny Pittaro Field Tuesday to host Seton Hall at 3:30 p.m.

Rider softball hosts Princeton University in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Herb and Joan Young Field.

During the game on Tuesday, the softball team will celebrate Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day.

The golf team was also rained out on day one of the three day Whiting-Turner Towson Invitational and that tournament will now be shortened to 36 holes with compeition Monday and Tuesday.
