Rider Adds a Pair of Transfers
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University women's basketball Head Coach Lynn Milligan has announced the written commitment of two additional student-athletes for the 2017-18 academic year. Taylour Jones (Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape High School/Harcum College) and AubreAnna Johnson (Post Falls, ID/Colby CC/Post Falls) will join the Broncs for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
“Both Taylour and AubreAnna are terrific young ladies on and off the court,” Milligan said. “Both are a perfect match for who we are here at Rider.”
Jones is a 5-7 right-handed shooting guard from Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Before coming to Rider she starred for two years at Harcum College. With the Bears, she scored 874 points which ranks fifth in the program's history. She also ranks second in blocks (36) and second in free-throw percentage (80.3%) at Harcum, while scoring over 14 points per game.
Johnson is a 6-2 left-handed forward from Post Falls, Idaho. Johnson most recently played Colby Community College in Kansas after starring at both Eaglecrest High School and Post Falls High School. She looks to add depth for the Broncs in the post. Johnson was a four-year letter winner and during her senior campaign she earned All-State honors in Idaho and was tabbed as her team's Defensive Player of the Year.
