LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Rider University baseball Head Coach Barry Davis has announced the written commitment of another student-athlete for the 2017-18 academic year.  Catcher Liam Harding (Staten Island, NY/St. Peter's High School for Boys) has signed a letter to attend Rider and will join the Broncs for the 2018 season as a recruited walk on.

Harding, a 6-0 righty, is another addition for Rider to join the nine other newcomers for the Broncs beginning in the fall.

"Liam will add to depth at position where a lack of it can ruin a season,” Davis said. “He has the potential to be a very good player in our program.  He has arm strength and possesses quick reactions behind the plate and will push for time at a position where experience is currently lacking."
