LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Rider University has hired Dianna Kurowyckyj as the University’s new coordinator of athletic marketing and promotions. Kurowyckyj assumed the role on Monday, December12.

Kurowyckyj most recently worked as the director of marketing at Marshall University in Huntington, WV.

“We are pleased to have Dianna join our team," Rider University Associate Athletic Director for External Operations/SWA Karin Torchia said. "Not only does she bring experience in collegiate sports marketing to Rider which will help raise awareness and promote of our 20 NCAA Division I athletic programs, but she’s got lots of creativity in addition to great ideas which will certainly benefit our teams, coaches and student-athletes.”

Kurowyckyj began her career in athletics at Villanova University in 2013, where she served as a marketing assistant for a year. During that same time she also worked at Cheyney University as a compliance intern. From July 2014-May 2015 she served as the marketing coordinator at Villanova where she designed and executed marketing plans for football, men’s lacrosse and various Olympic sports.

Following her stint at Villanova, Kurowyckyj joined Marshall University as the director of marketing in 2015, a position she held for the past 18 months. At Marshall she managed sponsorships for all ticketed Olympic sports, oversaw all marketing and ticketing initiatives for men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball, baseball and softball and assisted with men’s basketball and football, while managing the department’s social media accounts. Kurowyckyj also assisted with video production and televised football broadcasts.

Kurowyckyj earned her bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in health management and policy from the University of New Hampshire where she was a member of the gymnastics team.

Rider University is home to 20 NCAA Division I teams. The Rider Broncs compete in the Metro Atlantic Conference (MAAC) for all sports except wrestling, which participates in the Eastern Wrestling League (EWL).
