What You Need To Know
- Rider and Fairfield are meeting for the 43rd time, with the Stags owning a 36-6 lead in the series history. Fairfield enters the game having won four straight games against the Broncs. The last Rider victory against the Stags came in March of 2014 in the second round of the MAAC Tournament.

- Last time out, the Broncs snapped a 27-game losing streak against Marist with a 69-56 victory in Poughkeepsie. Rider never trailed after the opening minutes of the second quarter and stretched its lead to as many as 15 late in regulation.

- For the first time in program history, the Rider University women’s basketball team was named to the CollegeInsider.com Women’s Mid-Major Top-25 as announced by the committee on Tuesday, January 10. The Broncs enter the rankings at No. 25 with 89 points. The CollegeInsider.com Women’s Mid-Major Top-25 is now in its seventh season of existence and is voted on by a panel of 31 coaches from across the country.

- Rider is 5-0 on the road in conference play this season, highlighted by a pair of one-point wins against Siena and Canisius. The Broncs have also scored double-digit triumphs against Manhattan, Niagara and Marist.

- Freshman guard Stella Johnson delivered the late-game heroics with a steal and lay-up for the game-winning basket at Siena on Sunday. After a Saint timeout advanced the ball past midcourt, Johnson stole the inbounds pass and went in for a contested lay-up for the eventual game-winner with four seconds left. This season, Johnson has twice been named the MAAC Rookie of the Week. She is second in the league in field goal percentage (.551) and is third in the conference in steals per game (2.8).

- Robin Perkins scored a career-high 33 points on January 30 against Quinnipiac, including the 1,000th of her collegiate career. With 3:02 left in the third quarter against Siena, she sank a free throw for her 1,000th points at Rider. She is the 20th player in program to reach the milestone. Versus the Red Foxes, she poured in a game-high 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting.

- Julia Duggan recorded her team-leading fifth double-double of the season against Marist thanks to a 12-point, 13-rebound performance. She has been efficient in the post, knocking down over 50 percent of her shots from the field in five of her last seven games.

- Rider is 11-0 when leading at halftime this winter.

- Rider ranks first in the MAAC in field goal percentage (.438) and three-point field-goal percentage defense (.266). The Broncs are second the league in scoring offense (69.1), scoring margin (+5.4), field-goal percentage defense (.378), three-point field-goal percentage (.343), a
