Women's Basketball Against Siena freshman Emily Fazzini (Wayne, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) made two foul shots with 10:38 remaining to give Rider its only lead of the game, 40-39. Fazzini finished with a career-high 18 points along with six rebounds. Rider out-scored Siena 12-4 to start the second half, four points each by junior Caitlin Bopp (Baltimore, Md./Institute of Notre Dame) and Fazzini, to tie the score at 36-36 with 14:12 left to play. Bopp finished with nine points, five rebounds and two blocks. Trailing 26-13, Rider went on an 8-2 run, three points by junior Sironda Chambers (Newark, Del.), to cut the lead to 28-21, and Siena led 32-24 at the half. Chambers finished with 14 points to go along with three steals. Against Loyola Caitlin Bopp compiled 16 points and 14 rebounds. Bopp was seven for nine from the field and recorded her 17th career 'double-double' and second of the season. Senior Ali Heller (Boca Raton, Fla./St. Andrews) made a three-point field goal to give Rider its biggest lead of the game, 23-10, with 7:24 left in the first half. Heller finished with 16 points, making four three-pointers. At Marist sophomore MyNeshia McKenzie (Springfield, Pa./Springfield-Delco) compiled 17 points and seven rebounds. Rider led 20-19 before Marist went on a 17-0 run. Marist is the six-time defending MAAC Champion.

Wrestling At the CAA Duals freshman Jimmy Morris (Northport, NY/St. Anthony's) and sophomore Evan Craig (Clarks Summit, Pa./Abington Heights) won both of their matches. Against Mason (5-9, 0-2 CAA) the Broncs won eight of the 10 matches, with wins also coming from freshman Vinny Fava (Elmwood Park, N.J./Elmwood Park), freshman Conor Brennan (Brick, NJ/Brick Twp.), sophomore Ramon Santiago (Sayreville, N.J./Sayreville), sophomore James Brundage (Ossining, N.Y./Ossining), junior Brandon Lintner (Little Egg Harbor, NJ/Pinelands Regional) and freshman Clint Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff). Against 24th ranked Binghamton (9-2, 2-0 CAA), sophomore Chuck Zeisloft (Woodbury Heights, N.J./Gateway) and freshman Donald McNeil (Plainville, Mass./Wyoming Seminary) also won. At the Virginia Duals Jimmy Morris won all three of his matches and was named the CAA Rookie of the Week. Freshman Clint Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) won twice in the tournament, as did sophomore Chuck Zeisloft (Woodbury Heights, N.J./Gateway), freshman Conor Brennan (Brick, NJ/Brick Twp.) and junior Jim Resnick (Media, Pa./Penncrest).

Men's Basketball Against Canisius seniors Novar Gadson (Philadelphia, Pa./John Bartram) and Brandon Penn (Philadelphia, Pa./Paul Robeson) combined for 47 points and 14 rebounds. Holding a 19-16 lead, Rider went on a 19-2 run, seven points by Gadson and six each by Penn and freshman Eddie Mitchell (Philadelphia, PA/La Salle), to take a 38-18 lead, and Rider led 43-22 at the half. The Broncs made all 14 of their foul shots in the first half and were 22 of 29 from the foul line for the game. Mitchell finished with six points, six assists and a career-high eight rebounds. Rider out-rebounded Canisius 50-28.At Saint Peter's Brandon Penn compiled 20 points and 10 rebounds. Holding a 49-48 lead, Rider went on an 11-2 run, seven points by senior Jeff Jones (Chester, PA/Monsignor Bonner), to take a 60-50 lead with 5:45 left to play. Jones finished with 13 points and four rebounds. At Siena Rider trailed 74-58 before going on a 13-1 run, eight points by Jones, to cut the lead to four, 75-71 with 1:50 left to play. Jones finished with 17 points. At Fairfield Penn and sophomore Daniel Stewart (Philadelphia, PA/Neumann-Goretti) combined for 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Swimming & Diving At Fairfield junior Johnny Funk (Las Vegas, Nev./Southeast Career & Tech. Academy) won the 100 back (1:00.05) and 200 back (2:12.40) and swam on the winning 200 medley relay. Freshman Drew Peterson (Boulder City, Nev./Boulder City) won the 200 fly (2:10.01) and 400 free (4:06.47) and sophomore Trevor Hiller (Galloway Twp./Absegami) won the one-meter dive with a Fairfield pool record (304.03). Sophomore Melanie Leonhard (Piscataway) won the 200 free (2:10.22) and 400 free (4:33.68) and junior Kelly O'Connor (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) won the 200 fly (2:22.07) and 200 back (2:21.45). Against Loyola Johnny Funk won the 100 and 200 backstroke and the 200 IM and junior Brian Molloy (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East) won the 50, 100 and 200 free. Melanie Leonhard won the 500 and 1,000 free. Freshman Morgan Kandrac (Hamilton, NJ/Notre Dame) won the 100 and 200 breaststroke and swam on the winning 200 medley relay with senior Kori Kraus (Mays Landing, NJ/St. Joseph's), freshman Rachel Brooker (Stevens, PA/Cocalico) and freshman Taylor Byerly (Ridgefield, CT/Ridgefield). Kelly O'Connor won the 100 and 200 butterfly and junior Addie Oswald (Henderson, Nev./Green Valley) won the 200 backstroke and the 200 IM.

Track & Field At Army junior Megan Elgin (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) set a Rider record in the 3,000m, winning with a time of 10:05.84. Junior Mia Riley (West Caldwell/James Caldwell) won the 60-meter, junior David Hightower (Easton, Pa./Easton) won the 60 hurdles in an IC4A qualifying time of 8.25, grad student Michael Soroko (Kinnelon) won the 3,000m in an IC4A qualifying time of 8:20.34 and sophomore Steven Brown (Penns Grove) won the long jump. At Penn State Relays Elgin set a meet record in the mile.
