Thomas “Tom” Hill was hired as the Rider Athletics Multimedia & Broadcast Production Graduate Assistant in August 2025.
Tom graduated from Brookdale Community College in 2022 with an Associate’s Degree in journalism. He then attended Rowan University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sports Communications and Media degree in May 2024. During his time as an undergraduate at Rowan, he was a broadcaster for various different sports as both a play-by-play announcer and color analyst for Rowan Radio and Rowan Athletics live streams.
Prior to his time at Rider, Tom served as the play-by-play broadcasting intern for the Wilmington Blue Rocks in 2024. He is also a freelance broadcaster for several other universities in the Philadelphia metropolitan region. Additionally, he has previously written for Last Word On Sports and Elevation5280.com.
